Fun and Fellowship
We have fun together at First Presbyterian Church with a variety of events and gatherings:
- Church picnic on the Sunday after Labor Day every September
- “Hanging of the Greens” when we decorate the church on the first Sunday of Advent
- Deacons’ Christmas Breakfast
- Snow Ball or “Everybody’s Birthday” (usually in January)
- Progressive Dinner (usually in February or March)
- “All Son’s” (for the men and boys of the church) or “All Daughters’” (for the women and girls in the church)
- Strawberry Fest (June)
- Outings to the Reading Phillies
Most are for all ages, although a few, such as the “Snow Ball” and “Progressive Dinner,” are just for adults. In addition to these events, we also have a “PrimeTimers" group and a young adult group that plan their own gatherings. For more information, check out the announcements or the photo galleries.
